Crooked Lane alum Mark Constance sat down with us recently for a conversation on some of the latest news in film. Here is his take on the Massachusetts Film Tax Credit issue, why the credit is important to filmmakers in the area, and how the threat of losing it or having it capped is already affecting local film.

We actually found this site and sites like it to be an interesting way to gauge audience reaction to a film pre-release, among other things. It could be a beneficial tool for the budding filmmaker, or filmmakers on a tight budget.
Crooked Lane has really opened the kimono via social media and let fans see the entire process, from conception to the festival circuit, and beyond. This isn’t something that works for all films, but it has worked well for the cast, crew, and fans of Crooked Lane. Chase talks about his decision to do that.

Chase Bailey is not only an amazing director, writer and producer – he is a painter as well. He just had his work shown in Miami and around the world in a traveling international art show centered around the Dalai Lama. In this interview segment he talks about his art.
