Report On The Feature!

I had a chance to sit down briefly with writer/director Chase Bailey yesterday and talk about the feature film development of Crooked Lane. He has a lot of irons in the fire, but assures us the feature is coming along.

He mentioned that one of his regrets in how he cast the short came with the realization that he couldn’t re-use Ann Cusack in the feature (well, not without one of several cheesy or done-to-death plot elements, which he wants to avoid).

He’s deep in writing mode for the future of Crooked Lane, and will be publishing status updates to the Facebook fan page in the coming months as things progress. He’s also considering a bit of video blogging to keep you updated. Stay tuned!
