Crooked Lane’s own Jessica Webb (who played Bev) has been active in a variety of local films and plays since Crooked Lane wrapped.
Earlier this year she was in Rainmaker, portraying the role of Lizzie Curry.
Currently, you can see her in the May production of Hamlet by the GAN-e-meed Theater Project, where she will play the part of Claudius.
She has also been in several local MA and NH short films, such as Dark Scribbles (formerly “Dyslexic Psychic”) by Michael Venn, currently making the festival submission rounds for 2010.
Michael Venn, one of the actors in several scenes in Crooked Lane, has started his own project: Dyslexic Psychic. You can become a fan of Dyslexic Psychic on Facebook, and you can follow Michael on Twitter.
Continuing the collaborative nature of the film family here in NH, Michael has partnered with several other Crooked Lane alumni for his project. Marc Dole of Hatchling Studios (in charge of the film’s Visual Effects and Editing) has signed on as Producer.
Jessica Webb, who played “Bev” in Crooked Lane, has signed on as a member of the cast.
We’re excited to follow Michael’s progress in this dark comedy about a gifted psychic who misinterprets her clients readings.
